NEVER BE LATE AGAIN BY MAKING

SUSTAINABLE MAINTENANCE PREDICTABLE

DID YOU KNOW?

Although Germany has already applied the scheduled maintenance plan, it is estimated that catenary damage causes over 15,124 hours of train delays per year. Another report shows that the railway undertakings (including infrastructure managers, e.g., DB Netz, and the train operators, e.g., DB Regio) in Germany paid more than EUR 161 million in contractual penalty payments to regional transport authorities in 2017.

CHALLENGE

The estimated maintenance cost of pantograph and catenary is EUR 8500 per km per year, which is almost EUR 4 Billion in Germany. Therefore the focused problem is the high maintenance cost and low uptime of the trains and the catenary-pantograph systems.
Infrastructure managers, train operators who are suffering from these problems, are the customers of this business. The infrastructure manager who owns the catenary is responsible for the quality of the catenary. The train operators pay access charges to the infrastructure managers.

SOLUTION

PANTOhealth philosophy is built upon the idea that the future of predictive maintenance 4.0 is based upon five essential pillars that as an acronym we call it PANTO.

P for Pulse, A for Artificial intelligence, N for Normal inspection, T for Time-based simulation, O for Online monitoring.

Panto in Greek means "all".

Our unique approach is the ability to combine all these essential pillars to design condition monitoring and predictive maintenance solution.
